Features of the 650 Series Roll-up Doors

Door Springs – Each spring is generously coated in a lubricant that penetrates the innermost pores of the spring. It has additives that displace moisture and prevent the formation of rust. It also relieves friction between the spring coils, providing effortless door operation. The entire assembly is enclosed in a tube to guard against the elements.

Package Protection and Shipping – During transportation, doors that are stacked on top of each other are going to shift unless packaged in a way that minimizes movement. We ship our doors suspended separately within crates to help avoid compaction damage, door abrasion, and chatter marks.

Ratchet Tensioning Device – Our roll-up doors are equipped with a ratchet tensioning device that offer an easier method of tensioning more effectively, tuning all the springs on the door at the same time without the need for any extra hardware.

Head Axle and Torque Tube Assembly – This style provide sturdiness and smooth operation in industrial applications. The tube housing help to protect the springs and strengthen the axles. It allows for fine calibration of any spring adjustment to affect all springs at the same time.

Radial Ball Bearings – Roll-up doors are equipped with high-quality radial ball bearings at no extra cost. These bearings are permanently lubricated, meaning there’s no maintenance necessary. They’ll last as long as the door does.

Doorstops – Our doors come with removable door stops that are easy to install. They prevent the door from over travelling on the tracks when opening.
Door Options

Magnetic Zinc Coated Steel or Stainless Steel Latch – the mini latch features a cover plate made from heavy gauge steel. It also protects the latch from tampering.

Insulation – Optional R5 insulation is made from a foil-backed, dual-layer polyurethane air-bubble insulation that is secured in place using a strong adhesive.

Hood – these are recommended for exterior applications. If you’re mounting the door on the outside a hood can provide extra protection against the elements.

Side Brush Seal – 2” polypropylene side brush seals allow for complete sealing of the roll-up door, keeping out air, dust, insects, and more.

All drums are fitted with a grease-filled, shielded radial ball bearing, which contributes to smoother operation.
Galvanized and guide-mounted head stops prevent the curtain from travelling too far when raising the door.
Roll-formed clear acrylic-coated galvanized steel bottom bar that extends fully into the guide.
Full-width galvanized steel barrel that encloses the drum, springs, and axle to reduce sag, eliminate drum dents, and improve operation.
It comes with factory-installed galvanized reinforced 12-gauge brackets to reduce installation time.
A ratchet tensioning assembly that allows for precision tuning of the springs.
Oil-tempered torsion springs that are lubricated to minimize friction and corrosion.
